SPACE is just about ready to go to the printer! This is always an exciting and nerve-wracking time for me.There’s a bit of separation anxiety when you FTP your final files. Are they really ready to go out into the real world? Luckily, I did most of the hard work of template building with FOREST, and there’s this handy thing called a blueline that lets you catch any horrible last minute errors. And I’ve got editorial back-up from the rest of the collective, who catch stupid things in our proofing round (such as the one title I inevitable get wrong in the table of contents). But pressing the final “send” button still makes me nervous…

One of the things we were hoping for with SPACE was an increase in page count. And somehow, we managed! SPACE will be a glorious 56 b&w pages with a color cover by the talented Mr. Pogorelov. Dare I hope for 64 next time…?
